About Us
Our home is your home for the duration of your stay with us. Be it for business or pleasure we're sure you will feel relaxed.
Beech House was built around 1840 as a farmhouse surrounded on three sides by its land. When we moved here in 1980 about 6 acres remained. We use the land for horses, chickens, bees, fruit and vegetables. The gardens of about 1 acre are for pleasure and sharing. As one of the many NGS gardens countrywide we open ours to the public for charity fund-raising. If you are lucky enough to be with us at this time our cream teas are a must!

Rates are per room, per night, breakfast included.
Double room with bath ensuite- £80
(single occupancy- £50)
Twin room with shower ensuite- £70
(single occupancy- £45)
These rooms are on the second floor, overlooking the gardens and have far-reaching rural views.

These rooms are on the first floor at the front.
Four weeknights stay- £200.

Payment; Cash plus major credit and debit cards are accepted. No cheques. Cash machines are nearby if needed.
Cancellation; If you need to cancel within 7 days of your booking and we are unable to re-let the room, you will be charged the cost of one night's stay at the booked rate.
Arrival/Departure; Your room will be available from 4pm and will need to be vacated by 10am. Should you need to arrive earlier please 'phone to arrange this.
Children/Pets; Sorry we do not accept children or pets. As much as we love them we respect the wishes of our guests.
We do not provide evening meals, however, there is a wide choice of good value restaurants and pubs nearby. Menus and contact numbers are listed in your room.
